Find a partner, activate your competitive instincts and enter the CLTC Mixed Doubles Tournament.
This event is anticipated to be completed on the designated day – including the final.
The start time will depend on entry numbers & weather.
Entries close at 5.00 pm Tuesday 26 January 2020.
The draw will be made by the Thursday prior to the event.
No playing exemptions will be given.
A Plate event will be held where numbers permit. We request that all players who lose their first match make themselves available for the Plate event.
Players are required to register at the desk in the Clubhouse 15 minutes prior to their scheduled match time.
Players arriving more than 10 minutes late will be forfeited.
Matches will be the best of 3 tie-break sets with the 3rd set being a Match Tie Break, first to 10 points with 2 point advantage. Final will be the same format. The plate will be the same format. Deuces are short, no add scoring. At deuce Men will serve to Men, Ladies to Ladies, with the Server changing sides if necessary.
A player injured during a match is allowed a 3-minute medical timeout, after which he/she must continue to play or forfeit the match.
The Tournament Committee reserves the right to disqualify any competitor whose conduct during the tournament is deserving of censure.
The Tournament Committee’s decision is final at all times – especially in respect of times of play and playing conditions.
Appropriate tennis attire must be worn.
This event may be cancelled due to insufficient entries.
The Tournament Committee reserves the right to reschedule the finals to a later date.
